Hooray! COMFORT has come out in paperback! The book looks so beautiful, with the same cover as the hardback. I hope that you will get a copy for yourself, or to pass on to someone who needs it.

It has been a crazy spring so far with lots of travel, lots of teaching, lots of activities with my wonderful kids. But it is slowing a bit as we make our plans for summer.

Providence is gorgeous right now. the trees are practically dripping with blossoms, everything is green, tulips and azaleas have appeared. I am looking forward to spending the next few weeks at home. Cooking and writing and just being here.

Good news: I am on one of the final stages of revision for my new novel, THE RED THREAD, which will be published in May 2010. I'm very excited for it be finished and available.

In magazines, you can find an article on making meatballs with my mother in the latest More Magazine, and on my dad's cooking in the new issue of Tin House.

Everyone I know is having babies! So I am knitting hats, hats, and more hats!
